when 30s kick in

bright-bubble-color-137132.jpgWhen 30s kick in… things stay exactly the same. It’s just like that Placebo song I used to listen a few (few few few) years ago “Always stay to same, nothing ever changes.
English Summer Rain seems to last for ages”. “Age is just a number” – I used to laugh at this sentence, think of it as of an impeccable nonsense. Now I absolutely embrace the whole meaning of it, adorn it with brave encouragements and keep tasting the fuzzy-bubble of the 20s.

It’s midsummer – skies are getting clearer, toenails get brighter, rain gets lighter, thoughts get whiter. Sun creeps out early in the morning, fog is long forgotten (despite the fact that I absolutely adore it, if the circumstances are right). We laugh, we love, we seize the moment, we “hakuna matata” a lot, we make those “dream-out-loud” ideas we used to have… well, we make them happen. We adjust to reality with ease, we become more sophisticated beings but when it comes to basic needs and basic thrills, we keep it simple. Cheers to this mundane sophistication we discover as we grow and dive deeper into life, cheers to the simple things we cling to, cheers to the new era! 🙂
